These three publications explain the same idea at three resolutions: the questions that organize action, the compact policies elite judoka build around tokui-waza, and the gripping and engagement system that makes those policies executable.

The tactical endpoints remain simple: dominate the engagement, take down, then pin or submit. The series explains how a judoka develops an adaptable route to those endpoints without confusing the route with judo's larger educational purpose.
